The Seller warrants against defect in materials and workmanship in products which it manufactures for (1) year from the date of installation or up to 15 (fifteen) months from the date of shipment, whichever event occurs first., when properly installed and operated under normal use. This guarantee does not include any labor or other charges made outside of the Seller's factory for replacement or repair of defective parts unless specifically stated in the body of the Sellers invoice. On part not manufactured by Witt, such as motors, controls, valves and compressors we extend to the Buyer the same warranties made to us by the manufacturer.
Witt's only liability under this warranty or otherwise shall be the repair or replacement (at Seller's option) of nonconforming goods or parts. Seller assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damages such as injury to persons or property, or lost profits.
Claims must be submitted to our Service Department within 90 days of the repair. The time allowances delineated below represent guidelines. Details and special situations will be negotiated on a case by case basis.
Witt Four-Year Extended Warranty
(Motor-Compressor Assembly Only)
Witt also has available a four year extended warranty for the Motor-Compressor Assembly which follows the expiration of the standard Witt Warranty. In the event of a defective motor-compressor assembly this warranty would provide replacement to the original purchaser-user, following an inspection by a reputable refrigeration contractor. Quality & Warranty
To determine if your Witt equipment is under warranty, contact Dave Vallbracht in our Covington, Georgia facility at 770-788-5805. Your warranty status is determined by date code so you will need the Model and Series Numbers and your Purchase Order Numbers used when you purchased the equipment.
Field Service Warranty replacement requires an itemized breakdown of charges and invoices and backup information should be sent to the attention of Dave Vallbracht, 1123 Church Street, Suite 204, Covington, GA 30015.
In-warranty replacement parts are handled in Covington by Dave Vallbracht .
